From a Homeland of Obedience to a Homeland of Belonging

From a Homeland of Obedience to a Homeland of Belonging

Human Behavior Map: from DNA to Body-Territory

Every body needs to belong.

This is one of the strongest keys for understanding politics, religion, family, economy, and human behavior. No baby survives alone. No child learns alone. No adult builds identity completely isolated. We are born in relation.

Decolonial Neuroscience asks:

Does the homeland we are building help the body belong, or does it demand obedience in order to appear as belonging?

“God, Homeland, and Family” touches real needs

Faith, territory, and care are deep human dimensions.

Spirituality can help the body deal with uncertainty. Territory offers reference, protection, and continuity. Family, when healthy, creates bonds, memory, and care.

That is why “God, Homeland, and Family” has strong emotional power. It speaks to real human needs.

The problem begins when these needs are captured by fear, enemies, and economic obedience.

Faith can become control.
Homeland can become exclusion.
Family can become moral display.
And the body searching for shelter receives threat.

The capture of belonging

Authoritarian movements often understand something before many democracies do:

the human body needs to belong.

When there is economic insecurity, fear of the future, everyday discrimination, and low social trust, simple narratives become powerful:

“us against them.”
“the pure against the impure.”
“the true family against other families.”
“the true homeland against internal enemies.”

This form of belonging is fast, intense, and dangerous. It produces identity, but asks for obedience. It produces group emotion, but needs threat. It produces loyalty, but weakens critical thinking.

The Human Behavior Map proposes another path: to measure and strengthen forms of belonging based on care, science, body, territory, physical activity, culture, school, standing forests, and guaranteed economic participation.

Economic Right to Existence

In this proposal, we should not speak of “minimum income” as if it were political charity.

If the Body-Territory is the minimum unit of the State, then each Body-Territory must participate in the national economic metabolism by right.

The central formulation is:

Economic Right to Existence guaranteed by DREX Citizen and by the country’s territorial assets.

This changes the foundation of public policy.

The citizen does not receive a favor.
The citizen participates in public wealth because they are a living part of the State.

Just as a cell receives energy because it composes the organism, each Body-Territory must participate in economic circulation because it composes the country.

DREX Citizen, carbon credits, territorial assets, protected biomes, standing forests, and local circulation can form a new economic basis for belonging.

When the Body-Territory participates in the State’s economic metabolism, belonging no longer depends on hunger, debt, electoral bargaining, or obedience.

True Jiwasa

The concept of Jiwasa helps us imagine another homeland.

In true Jiwasa, the group is not organized by fear, money, or enemies. It is organized by shared tasks, trust, bonds, and the natural alternation of leadership.

Who knows how to care, cares.
Who knows how to plant, plants.
Who knows how to teach, teaches.
Who knows how to coordinate, coordinates.

Then another person can lead another task.

Complex systems work like this. Forests work like this. Human communities can also learn to work like this.

A homeland of belonging does not erase differences. It creates conditions for differences to cooperate.

How to transform this evidence into public policy

If you are running for President of Brazil

Propose the Economic Right to Existence, guaranteed by DREX Citizen, carbon credits, and the country’s territorial assets, so that each Body-Territory participates in the national economic metabolism.

If you are running for the Senate

Propose a Body-Territory Legal Framework, recognizing belonging, economic security, mental health, childhood, and territorial sovereignty as foundations of the Secular Democratic State.

If you are running for Governor

Create State Human Behavior Map Centers, connecting universities, schools, SUS, sports, culture, and EEG/fNIRS laboratories to measure belonging, cooperation, and mental health.

If you are running for Federal Deputy

Allocate resources to research on DREX Citizen, belonging, polarization, discrimination, physical activity, mental health, and territorial development.

If you are running for State Deputy

Support pilot projects in schools, neighborhoods, traditional communities, and universities to strengthen coexistence, sports, culture, citizen science, and local belonging.

Sentences for a government plan

The Body-Territory does not receive a favor: it participates in the State’s economic metabolism through the Economic Right to Existence.

A mature homeland does not demand obedience through fear; it produces belonging through science, territory, care, and guaranteed economic participation.
